Company History

Director Lars Jorgensen arrived in Australia in Sept 1990. First joined John Higham and Assc and worked on the designing and setout of power lines in the Perth metropolitian area. Then joined Westrail in 1991 and worked on the construction of the Northern Suburbs Railway Line from Perth to Joondalup. On the completion of that project Lars joined Whelans Survey and Mapping in Perth and worked extensively in the goldfieilds around Kalgoorie and then worked on Christmas Island for 14 months on the construction of roads on the Island. In May 2005 Lars joined Macmahon Contractors as a Project Surveyor and worked on many big Civil contracts including the Mt Keith Tailings Dam, Learmonth RAAF Base Upgrade, Bussleton By Pass, Bulong Nikel Project, Henderson Reclamation, Pinjarra - Waroona Southwest Freeway Project, to name a few.

In July 2002 Lars then formed Rand Surveys Pty Ltd to provide professional surveying services to Major Civil contractors Australia wide. Rand Surveys can provide professional surveying services from the West Coast to the East Coast.
